Just Published: Oxford University Press Case Study

InfoTrends has just released an in-depth study of how Oxford University Press (OUP) streamlined its publishing process to facilitate the creation and delivery of new products.

In the past, OUP had to reinvent the wheel for every new online project, with little economy of scale. By building a publishing platform based on MarkLogic Server, now they can work with multiple content structures. The company has experienced remarkable results with its first project, the African American Studies Center.

With a standard publishing platform in place and XML as its content format, OUP is positioned to quickly produce new products in much less time than before, and with the ability to re-use work from previous projects.
